Sovebec inc. was created over  25 years ago by a group of lumber producers who were looking to associate themselves with a sales force that would represent all the member mills on the open market. Since the end of 2002, Sovebec inc. became the property of Foresterie Saint-Dunstan Inc..

To commercialize both raw material produced by its partner saw mills and also any value-added products that can be made within the group, primarily for export markets optimising the return for all parties involved.
